Sacred Roots Annual: It Is Well with My Soul
Each year, the TUMI community of missionaries deliberately join hands and hearts to share a spiritual quest and journey, to seek the Lord together in Scripture and sacrament, and to walk together in our efforts to be formed spiritually through the spiritual disciplines. All our practices, services, and activities are integrated together, informed by our commitment to walking the Christ life according to the rhythms of the Church Year. Join us in our daily walk together by visiting tumi.org/today every day. If you want to see the video teachings in a complete playlist (as they are added) here is a link you can bookmark or share.
It Is Well with My Soul Calendar 2022-2023
We have entitled our 2022-23 Church Year Calendar It Is Well with My Soul, based on the well-known hymn by that name. The Church historically has captured its message of love and mercy in its symbols, metaphors, stories and songs, all designed to lift up his name and encourage the saints on their pilgrim journey of discipleship. Spiritual hymns and songs are a universal language that communicates across cultures and peoples to emphasize its devotion to God through Jesus Christ, he who is worthy of our highest praise and service.
It Is Well with My Soul is a rich blend of liturgical readings, biblical theology, lovely images, and spiritual devotion. We pray that as you walk with this the Lord through our calendar you will be inspired to love even more our Lord Jesus Christ, the one who still inspires the people of God to sing praise and write songs that testify of his love and grace in this fallen world.
